Greetings and welcome to the rain soaked edition of PCCM 61. We are following a train that has departed Elkhart, Indiana and is headed to Selkirk, New York. It will make a stop in West Mill, New York. With a final destination of Empire City, New York. Let's see what's in the consist.
Leading our train is Penn Central F7A #1878. It is a former Rio Grande unit that was going to be a trade in to EMD. The Penn Central kept the unit instead and it lasted in to the Conrail era.
Here we have Penn Central F7A #1707. It has the fan favorite red "P" PC logo.
Next we have an empty Burlington gondola headed to Sal's Salvage in West Mill, NY.
For ACME auto parts, we have a NYC boxcar loaded with alternators and starters from Wazee Electric in Denver, Colorado.
Also from Wazee Electric, this B&M boxcar filled with "Fly back" transformers and "Rasters" for Zenith TV on the Mayfield Branch.
Headed for Reynolds Beverage Distributors, a boxcar filled with tasty Tivoli Beer from Denver.
For Canton Box Company, a SP boxcar with rolled cardboard and heavy duty box liners from Rockmont Supplies.
A Great Northern boxcar with finished lumber products for Neal's Lumber and Hardware.
This Burlington car is returning empty to Superior Furniture from American Furniture in Denver.
This boxcar is loaded with Model Railroad supplies from Caboose Hobbies in Denver. It's headed to the Terminal Warehouse and Storage Facility.
A Pennsy boxcar loaded with cases of snack cake boxes for the Hostess Plant in Empire City. Courtesy of Rockmont Supplies in Denver.
This PC High Cube car is loaded with belts and hoses from Gates Rubber Company in South Denver. It's headed to the Ford Plant in Bedford, New York.
Bringing up the rear is PC caboose #18403. A former Lehigh Valley Caboose.
