P.C.C.M. 61 Part 2 Selkirk to Elkhart


Greetings and welcome to part 2 of P.C.C.M. 61. We catch the return leg racing across the Ohio countryside headed to the Penn Central Yard in Elkhart, Indiana.
 

Leading our train is Penn Central FP7A #4362


           Followed by F7B #3439. Adding another 1500 hp to the westbound consist.


     Bringing up the rear of our motive power trio is Penn Central GP7 #5706.


     A carload of barley for the Tivoli Brewery in Denver, from Empire City Cargill.


Returning from the Ford plant in Bedford, NY. This empty Celanese tank car is returning to Denver.


 A carload of catalog orders for the Montgomery Wards catalog center in South Denver.



 This PFE mechanical reefer is returning empty to Denargo Produce Market in Denver.


This Burlington Meat Reefer is returning to the Denver Stockyards Meat Packing row.


 A carload of Gern flux headed to the Arvada Gern plant from the West Mill, Gern facility.


This CN boxcar is returning from Canton Box Company, to Rockmont Supplies in Denver.



   These two Penn Central Covered Hoppers are loaded with pelletized Wort from Cavendish Food and Spirits. It's headed to the Denver Union Stockyards as tasty livestock feed.


 Returning from Peerless Appliances, this Grand Trunk car is headed back to Wazee Electric.


Bringing up the rear is Penn Central bay window caboose, #18436. It will soon be arriving in Elkhart, Indiana. The Penn Central-Rock Island pool power train will take the train to Blue Island, IL. Eventually it will arrive in Denver for distribution to the various industries.
