Greetings and welcome to the Ralston Creek portion of PCCM 58. Here we find an eastbound Union Pacific freight rolling across the plains in western Nebraska. Much of the consist is headed to points east. Let's take a look at our train for the day.
Leading the consist is Union Pacific GP9 road number 298.
Second unit in the consist is Union Pacific F7B road number 1467B
Final unit in the lash up is Union Pacific F7A, road number 1467.
The first block includes several stockcars headed to the Omaha Stockyards and meat packing plants.
Our second block includes this Penn Central hopper returning to Cavendish Fine Foods and Spirits.
This Rock Island Plug Door boxcar headed to Ralph's Grocery warehouse in Davenport, IA.
This Burlington gondola is headed to Sal's salvage in West Mill, New York.
This group of cars is being routed to destinations in the Chicago area.
Quoting "Big Mike", those guys in Roanoke. A Norfolk and Western car headed to home rails.
Returning empty to Nashville, TN. We see this 50ft boxcar set up for lumber deliveries.
Bringing up the rear is one of UP's slogan cabooses. Safety is always a key factor in life!
Thanks for reading this segment of PCCM 58. Part 2 will be departing this weekend.

Good to see you back at throttle! Nice showcase of Plains Power and rolling stock! The GP9-F7B-F7A is such a classic lash up. Well Done.

West Mill out.
Gotta love the 1st generation consist! Your cattle cars remind me of a long forgotten project I once had planned..more on that if flea market shopping is successful this year. Nice pics of your rolling stock!
